On December 21, 2020, two workers were installing snow stops along a house roof. One was moving a 24-foot aluminum extension ladder, run out to about 18 feet, from one side of the roof to the other when it contacted low-hanging energized power lines. He was electrocuted and declared dead at a hospital.
