Use Tool

What is this tool?

The HazCom Compliance Scorer is a weighted self-assessment tool that evaluates your Hazard Communication program across 6 OSHA pillars: Written Program, SDS Management, Container Labeling, Employee Training, Chemical Inventory, and Contractor Communication. It produces a compliance grade (A–F) with pillar-level analysis and prioritized recommendations.

OSHA requirement

29 CFR 1910.1200 establishes requirements across all 6 pillars evaluated by this tool. HazCom is consistently the 2nd most-cited OSHA standard, with citations frequently stacked across multiple areas (missing SDS + unlabeled containers + no training = 3 separate citations). This scorer helps identify gaps before an inspector does.

How to use it

Answer 20 Yes/No questions organized by compliance pillar. Questions are weighted by OSHA citation severity (4–7 points each). After completing all 6 pillars, receive your compliance grade, pillar breakdown with progress bars, and a prioritized list of failed items with regulation references and specific corrective actions.
